Style is born.

Maternity wear gets a revamp and makes a baby bump the best accessory to have this season with maternity website www.keungzai.com. Keungzai gives those yummy Mummies to be the chance to wear on trend clothes during their pregnancy. With clients including Sienna Miller I have no doubts that this brand's fan base will just keep on growing, much like the tummies of those wearing the clothes!

Here are some of my favourites:

2-in-1 printed maternity/nursing dress £165

The print on the top half of this dress is stunning and it's the perfect piece to wear as part of the monochrome trend. Just pair with black booties (like in the picture) and you and your baby could be walking the run way.

Maternity shirt £95

I just love this print, I couldn't resist featuring another item that uses it. This shirt is chiffon and can work as evening or day wear. Plus the pointed collar has a light androgynous feel without being too full on.

Maternity peg trouser £95

The soft tailoring on these trousers is adorable and they will go with almost anything due to the neutral colour. One look that would work well with these is the pastel trend, just add a pale pink or green shirt and some flat brogues.

Blue waterfall dress £195

A true stand out piece, this royal blue waterfall dress is a soft jersey material and the body con fit is beautiful. Love!

That my friends is how style is born.

Let the sun shine.

I can't wait for summer, even though the weather at the moment suggests it's a long time away. And what comes with summer? Summer clothes! Excuse me whilst I get way too excited. Sandals, skirts and shorts, pretty much my three favorite fashion items, are acceptable once again. Goodbye winter knits and thick wooly tights, hola sunshine.

Here’s my summer shopping list:

Marble Print V Back Maxi Dress, £36.00 from Topshop: This dress is so yummy. I can see it with some sky scraper wedges and maybe a low slung leather back pack. Plus it ticks of the pastel summer trend. What's not to love?

Tie die slip £26 from Topshop: This dress is just asking for some rugged accessories, a chunky gold necklace, tons of stacked rings, and a pair of black and gold high heeled booties. Winner.

Lace shorts £19.99 from H&M: so cute! I just think these are adorable... that is all.

Mirror print tee £32 from Miss Selfridge: Well someone's been doing there research on what's hot this summer, mirror print! Love this tee, all it needs is a pair of denim shorts and simple makeup.

Crochet plastic mac £56 from Topshop: There's something very Louis Vuitton about this mac and the colour is oh-so-perfect. Not only that but it's great as protection against those typical summer showers that try hard to ruin our looks.

Red maxi skirt £30 Topshop: It's chilled out but in a stylish way, and pays homage to the luxury sport trend without being too full on. Gorgeous no?

Metallic shorts £29.99 from H&M: They're high-waisted and they're metallic. I need them!

Black high top trainers £49 from Miss Selfridge: Not my usual choice, but there's something about these shoes that I adore. Once again a nod to the sporty trend and they would look amazing with some shorts. Plus they have studs, another huge trend this summer.

Leather backpack £30 from Topshop: It'll go with pretty much anything and is so gorgeous. Plus big enough to fit your sun cream in!

I better get saving!

Time machine...

It’s not a secret that I have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with vintage, or vintage style clothes. Recently, I’ve been looking around online vintage stores. Usually being the kind who wants to have the clothes physically there in front of me, I was surprised how quickly I got sucked into the world of online vintage. One of my favourite finds is a site called beyond retro (www.beyondretro.com). For those of you who haven’t, I’d really suggest giving it a visit, they sell some stunning pieces.

If I had enough money, frankly I would’ve bought the whole shop by now, but here are some of my favourites…

Simply adorable!

Out of this world!

Just take a look at these stunning wedges –

Aren’t they the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen? Yes. Yes they are. These are a pair of $199.00 Nebula Galaxy star print wedges, hand painted (that’s right- hand painted) and custom made in Paris. When I say custom made, I mean pretty much every last detail can be altered if you request for it. Not that I see any reason for them to be edited! Each pair takes 2-3 three weeks to make, proof of the quality, and is finished with a matt varnish as protection from everyday weather. Now if these booties were in my shoe draw, I would be over the moon.

Christopher Kane inspired galaxy print really is taking off, with high-street brands producing some absolutely gorgeous clothes using it. Consider it a micro-trend for this summer.

Oh so dreamy...

You’d be surprised just how many times I’ve seen women, and men come to think of it, walking around in pyjamas in the middle of the day, and worse still, in the middle of town. The first of these encounters was with a young-ish woman in my local supermarket. She was wearing a pair of pink silk PJs and a pair of gold Ugg style slippers with no jacket as an attempt to disguise her choice in clothing. I was shocked; horrified even when I saw her so shamelessly walking through the aisles wearing what is clearly night wear at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Literally two weeks later I saw a man walking down the street in flannel pyjamas and a dressing gown at around 10am, I can only hope – without trying to sound mean- that he had got locked out of his house whilst fetching the milk from his door step. Not once did I think whilst looking at these two examples that they could have actually spotted a S/S12 trend very far in advance. Maybe they weren't just lazy, but extremely intuitive. I doubt it, but my point is: Pyjama suits are becoming a fashionista’s clothing item of choice.

Rihanna made the bold decision of a blue and gold silk pyjama suit for the premier of her new film “Battle ships”. The outfit certainly was controversial, as those of you who try to keep up with the fashion world will know. Some were saying she was “oh-so-stylish” and others just saying “oh no”. I personally think she looked amazing, and that got me thinking about whether this pyjama trend was such a bad thing after all. It seems the key to it is to not look like you’re actually going to bed. Sounds odd, yes, considering they are pyjamas, but trust me.

How to wear:

1. Pyjama perfect.
Find yourself a pyjama suit that is absolutely stunning. If you can, opt for the designer options like Louis Vuitton but if you need something a little less pricey Oasis and H&M are also beautiful.

2.       No slippers aloud.
This look needs a pair of skyscraper heels to avoid looking more “sleep” and less “chic”.

3.       Killer clutch.
An oversized clutch is a wonderful addition to the look and will make you feel even more fashionable sporting the S/S12 bag.

4.       Bed head.
Hair needs to be well groomed and preferably short or in an up-do with this look. Shine sprays and finishing balms are a requirement!

5.       Confidence.
Most importantly you need to be confident that you look great, otherwise you’ll feel ridiculous all day.

Follow my tips and you’ll look simply dreamy!

The clash:

Throw away your fashion hand books and forget everything you know about what clothes should be worn together, because pattern clashing is huge right now. In fact it’s bigger than huge, it’s massive. We all love our trusty little black dress, it’s a wardrobe staple after all, but the time has come to give it a rest and be bold!

Take a look at the catwalk and you’ll get hit by a pattern avalanche of clothes from different designers, creating the perfect opportunity to mix them together and create a masterpiece. At the autumn/winter 2012 shows Marc Jacobs did paisley, Henry Holland did dog tooth, Mary Katrantzou and McQueen did florals.  I love the idea of being able to mix two pieces together, that would usually never come within a few meters of each other, and them looking absolutely fabulous, as well as totally on trend. With tons of both high-end and high-street stores stocking patterned pieces this season, it really is the clash takeover.

It can be a daunting prospect, going against your style instinct, but the end results will be worth it. Trust me. It took me a while to get used to the idea of clashing being good, so if your still feeling a bit dazed and you’re not sure how to create this look, here’s how I would wear the trend:

Do these clothes clash?

I completely love this trend, bold is beautiful after all.
