100th post!

So this is it, my 100th post for Paige of Fashion! When coming up to what I see as such a huge milestone, one can only reminisce over the past 9 months of blogging. Finding my writing style, getting the much appreciated support of all my followers and ultimately spending my evenings doing something that I love has meant that keeping up my posts has been an amazing experience for me. Not only has it made me realise just how much I love the world of fashion, but it’s also bought me to the conclusion that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I want to continue blogging of course, but I would absolutely love to go in to fashion journalism as a career as well. So I suppose you could say that this blog has really changed my life, isn’t that crazy?

Only earlier this year I started Paige of Fashion as a complete fashion and blogging novice armed with Look magazine and the hope of battling boredom. Little did I know how much of an effect it would have on me. For months I wrote without gaining followers or getting comments but slowly I’ve climbed the blogging ladder, although I still have a very long way to go! Now on my 100th post I’m almost never bored with blogging to turn to, and I’m armed with Look, Vogue, Elle, Company, and the list goes on. Who knows maybe one day I’ll get the opportunity to write for one of them.

Anyway, I’ll get to the point. I thought I’d take this opportunity to show you all some of my defining Paige of Fashion moments.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane.
The start of it all:

On the 8th of February I did my first ever blog post having clearly not noticed the title bar! Either way I still love this outfit and the two others! I'm actually considering starting to do posts in this style again because I forgot how cool they looked and fun they were to do.

Trend spotting:

Spotting trends is something I've definitely developed over this year. One of the biggest trends on the high street for S/S12 was galaxy print. I have to say that I'm pretty proud that I saw it coming in April.
Page views:

This was my first post that got a lot of page views, which as you can imagine was very exciting. I was in fact one of the first people to post something about the show's fashion online. I was working to quite a tight schedule for the first time as well.
Celebrity style:

This is still probably in my top 10 celebrity outfits and that's why I decided to mention it.  Stunning.
DIY projects:

I also started doing more DIY projects in the summer, especially shorts. I love my tie dye ones, but the weather got cold too quickly and I can't really wear them any more. Thank goodness the Henry Holland's S/S13 show feature tie dye heavily!

Awards :

I was really happy when I was nominated for both The Versatile Blogger Award and the Liebster award, it really did mean so much to me. It showed me that my hard work was actually getting some results.

Ball gowns:

One of the best days of my life was going to the V&A museum in London to see the Ball gown exhibition. It made me so emotional and I think this post makes that quite clear.

Writing style:

This post on the Edwardiana trend is one of my favourites in terms of language and how it's written. To be honest I'm extremely proud of it. I think that I've really found my written style recently.

That brings us back to today's post. What a journey my blog has been through. 100 posts is more than I ever expected to make it to. All I can say is - Here's to another 100! I'd like to thank everyone who's ever read, commented and follwed my blog because it all means the absolute world to me. Seriously Thank you all so much.

Thanks for reading guys, (now there's one thing that hasn't changed)
Bethany Paige x
